“Collective Wisdom: Collaborative Learning to Support Your Community Archiving Projects”
Led by Natalie Milbrodt, this workshop will invite attendees to engage in collaborative learning through the exploration of opportunities and challenges commonly encountered in community archiving projects. Community Webs members will gain inspiration and insight from learning about other community archiving projects happening across libraries and cultural heritage organizations and will work together to determine the highest priority topics for future workshops and discussions.
“Walk the Workflow”
Led by Digital POWRR instructors Stacey Erdman and Jaime Schumacher, this workshop will provide a demonstration of an end-to-end digital preservation workflow using simple, open-source tools followed by time for hands-on engagement with the workflow. Please note: each participant in this workshop must bring a laptop in order to engage in hands-on testing of the tools being demonstrated. Participants should also download Data Accessioner (DA) and Data Accessioner: Metadata Transformer Tool (XSLT Transformer) in advance.
