Speak up! Archive-It 5.0 Feature Request Forum

January 29th, 2014

Attention Archive-It Partners: We want to hear what is important to you for Archive-It 5.0!

At our annual Partner Meeting in November, 56  Archive-It users participated in a brainstorming session for our 5.0 release, which will be a major overhaul of the service at all levels of the web application. This stage of development is an excellent opportunity to “think big” about crawling content, analyzing archived content, and managing collections in Archive-It. We want your input on our new  5.0 Feature Request Forum!

We’ve compiled the full list of prospective features on the forum for partners to discuss. There is also an opportunity to request new features. The forum can be accessed through our support system and the “Submit a Question” link in the web application. It requires an Archive-It username and password to access. We are inviting users to contribute in a few different ways:

1. Like features:

We all know how to click a “like” button online, so why not let us know what features are more important to you by clicking on the Like button?

2. Share your use cases!

What kinds of access statistics are you looking for your collections? What changes to the Wayback banner would you like to see? What kinds of information are missing from reports? Let us know how your organization uses current features, or would benefit from improvements by commenting on feature requests.

3. Create a new feature request!
