Title: Postgraduate Law Students Association : Postgraduate Law Students Association : The University of Melbourne, Melbourne Law Masters Student Association

URL: https://law.unimelb.edu.au/mlmsa

Description: The PLSA is a student body composed of current Masters and PhD students, established to facilitate academic and social engagement in the postgraduate law community. A major function of the PLSA is representation of Masters and Research Higher Degree students. This representation is to law school administration, other law school student committees, the broader post-graduate student community and the wider university community in general. We feed directly into several different faculty committees where we act as representatives and advocates, and report to staff on feedback from students. We welcome feedback on the programs run within the faculty, and are able to help students in locating support services where needed. We organise various activities throughout the year that are open to all postgraduate law students, and we are always happy to receive suggestions on any other events students would like to run. This year, we have committed to events within the law school as well as in Melbourne itself - check out our What's On sections (here and here) for more information. As well as activities we've organised, we provide students with information about upcoming lectures, workshops, social occasions and other events via our noticeboards and website. The Melbourne Law Masters Student Association (MLMSA) is a comprised of elected and appointed Melbourne Law Masters (MLM) students who represent the collective interests of all MLM students within Melbourne Law School.
