Description: UoM Commercial Ltd is the corporate vehicle that provides Commercial Engagement Services to The University of Melbourne. Our role is to lead commercial practice and generate benefits for the University from the application of new and existing human and intellectual capital and property developed from research and teaching activities. UoM Commercial Ltd is also a vehicle for the University to manage activities that can be carried out more effectively and efficiently under the umbrella of a corporate structure. The following such activities are managed through this corporate structure: Shepparton Medical Centre, providing Medical students with opportunities to develop their experience in a hands-on environment, in a location that has a need for their skills. University of Melbourne Hawthorn Campus providing a complete facility management service for the University’s campus in Auburn Road, Hawthorn, including maintenance, compliance, staff accommodation and tenancy management services. Cultural Materials Conservation Services, providing specialist consulting services both to the world class cultural collections of the University of Melbourne and commercial clients.
