Description: We are inviting students in Manitoba to join us as we walkout of classes and demand that the RCMP and Coastal GasLink (CGL) fully withdraw from sovereign Wet’suwet’en territory immediately. Wet'suwet'en sovereignty and law must be respected and we stand in solidarity with the Wet'suwet'en hereditary chiefs in demanding that BC, Canada, the RCMP and CGL respect their authority. This walk-out is part of a National Student Walk Out in support of Wet'suwet'en.

Description: Presented by The Decolonizing Lens, join us for “Art and Activism” an important evening of discussion, learning and understanding. Canada is in the midst of a land title crisis that has left many Canadians questioning things like Indigenous title, land protection, the Indian Act, and Indigenous sovereignty. This event is to create a safe space for a shared dialogue and understanding about the Wet’suwet’en Nation’s efforts to protect their traditional territory and to discuss the role art can play in political activism.
