Formed as a non-governmental organization in 2006, the IRFS has been monitoring all violence against journalists and violations of journalists’ rights in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has the 5th highest number of wrongfully imprisoned journalists in the world, behind China, Eritrea, Iran and Cuba. Staff members subject to random beatings, surveillance, and arbitrary detention with impunity. Contains photographs, videos, list of journalists, freedom of information requests, news, and reports for download. Users can also upload their own content.

Description: In Romanian and English. Formed in 1990, APADOR-CH is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that raises the level of awareness on and respect of human rights and rule of law.
