Description: St Michael's Church was established as a parish in 1936 to meet the needs of Russian immigrants living in the New York metropolitan area, to nurture and transmit to future generations the Community's unique faith tradition of the Russian Orthodoxy in communion with the See of Rome — or "Russian Catholicism." The church is located in SoHo (Greenwich Village) section of Manhattan, in New York City, at 266 Mulberry Street. The area is best-known as “Little Italy.”
