Description: Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church is located in Washington Heights (northern Manhattan) on Wadsworth Avenue between 179th and 180th Street, just three blocks east of the George Washington Bridge. The church was organized and named Saint Spyridon in 1931 and contains some of the finest Byzantine iconography and architecture in the world.
