Description: Metro Hope Church is located on the 3rd Floor of the National Black Theatre Building at 2031-33 Fifth Avenue, between 125th and 126th Streets, East Harlem, New York City. The church is affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church, an evangelical Christian denomination of more than 800 congregations in the United States and Canada. Founded in 1885 by Swedish immigrants, the denomination is now one of the most rapidly growing multi-ethnic denominations in North America. Historically Lutheran in theology and background, it is now a broadly evangelical movement.
