This collection focuses on Digital Humanities projects created at Gettysburg College that were created by students, as classroom projects, or teams of faculty and students. While there are many projects that fall under this umbrella, this collection pilots a web archiving initiative that encompasses several platforms and methodologies, including WordPress, Scalar, Omeka, StorymapJS, TimelineJS, and ArcGIS.

Title: Lincoln Cemetery Community Database

Description: This database documents the lives of the hundreds of black men, women, and children buried at Lincoln Cemetery in the 19th and early 20th centuries, including thirty members of the U.S. Colored Troops who were denied burial in the Gettysburg National Cemetery due to segregation. It includes information for every person buried at Lincoln Cemetery (Gettysburg, PA) including photos of available headstones and historical documentation.
