Description: The LTRG is made up of approximately forty organizations – not-for-profits, faith communities and government liaisons – that have experience working with individuals and families to meet critical needs. The LTRG is also able to draw on the experience of national organizations active in disaster and disaster recovery to ensure resources are used in an efficient and effective manner in this circumstance. Systems of accountability are essential to the operation of the LTRG, as it stewards community donations to fill the gaps in the lives of our neighbors.

Description: Colorado Springs Together is a community-driven volunteer effort, and is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The team members are distinguished citizens and business professionals in the Colorado Springs community facilitating and coordinating a quick and effective rebuilding process for the neighborhoods devastated on June 26th by the fire. The donations received will go towards the activities required to help restore the lives and the neighborhoods affected by the fire at the same time maintaining a strong sense of community during the rebuilding process.
