Description: Hmong American Friendship Association, commonly referred to as HAFA, is a non-profit organization founded in 1983. HAFA was founded by Hmong refugees to help improve the quality of life for all Hmong refugee families in the Greater Milwaukee area. In our 25 plus years in existence we have grown to serve, not only the Hmong population of Milwaukee, but also the community at large. Our primary goal is to promote self-sufficiency in those we serve by bridging cultural, social and language barriers and identifying resources that meet the needs of those we serve.
