Collecting began in 2016 following the launch of the Human Gene-Editing Initiative by the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Medicine to facilitate decision making for the responsible use of human gene-editing research. Archived websites are primarily in English. NLM will continue to develop, review, describe, and add content to the collection.
