Selective collection beginning in March 2016 to document U.S.-based emergency events impacting environmental health, including lead found in the Flint, Michigan water system in 2016 and hazardous materials spilled in East Palestine, Ohio during a 2023 train derailment. The archive includes information from federal and state websites as well as news articles, social media threads, blogs, and video recordings. Archived content is primarily in English. NLM will continue to add new topics to the collection.”
