Description: The Tarrant County Central Labor Council served as a central organizing body to coordinate the activities of the labor unions in Tarrant County, Texas. The body was created on August 15, 1957 by the merger of the AFL-affiliated Fort Worth Trades Assembly and the CIO-affiliated Tarrant County Industrial Union Council.
