Description: The Executive Board of the National Council of Field Labor Locals (NCFLL) is composed of eleven national officers. The Executive Board negotiates and enforces the national Agreement with the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL). The Executive Board also meets regularly with USDOL management to consult on issues relevant to administration of the Agreement and to conduct mid-term bargaining. The President of the NCFLL, in consultation with constituent Local presidents, appoints representatives at the regional level to meet and consult with regional management and to conduct mid-term bargaining at the regional level.

Description: American Federation of Government Employees Labor Lodge 2139 was organized in April, 1962, by Harry Weisbrod who was also its first president. In its formation stage it was sometimes known as Labor Investigators Lodge 2139. In October, 1962, the Lodge received the first exclusive recognition granted by the Department of Labor to any employee group in the field. Although originally membership was open to labor investigators only, it was later opened to other employees.
