Description: From the website: "The Queer Studies House (QSH) is an academic interest house with the mission of promoting the academic pursuit of queer studies and creating a safe space for students of all sexual and gender identities. Established in the spring of 2008, the house is five years old, and it is our belief that it is becoming an important institution at Middlebury. The QSH is a living space dedicated to the principle that the study of sexuality and gender identity is integral to the radical challenging of hierarchies of oppression and a necessary portion of a complete academic, social, and residential college experience."
