Description: Video recording titled, "Johnny Depp AIDS PSA - 1980's," uploaded to YouTube by CoolOldVideos on March 31, 2012. The video features a Public Service Announcement (PSA) in which 21 Jump Street actor Johnny Depp, the United States Assistant Secretary for Health, Dr. Robert Windom, and the Surgeon General of the United States, Dr. C. Everett Koop explain how HIV/AIDS is communicated and ask the community to support those impacted by the disease. The PSA originally aired after a 21 Jump Street episode in 1988, most likely the episode titled, "A Big Disease with a Little Name," in which Depp's character Tom Hanson reluctantly takes a case wherein he must protect a teenage AIDS patient.
