Description: This article is a statement released by the Continental Summit of Indigenous Communication of Abya Yala, following its meeting held from November 8-12, 2010 in Cauca, Colombia that focused on the issues of "Coexistence, Territory, Dialogue and Negotiation." The statement declares the intention of the coalition to establish a Continental Network of Indigenous Communications in order to articulate the different networks, processes and experiences of indigenous peoples and nations. The statement includes a plan of action to establish this continental communication network.
