This global mass-participation festival features user-generated video clips, created by Shakespeare enthusiasts worldwide, and expressed in international languages. Public and political figures, global artists and theatre professionals, scholars and educators, modern technology and business leaders, athletes, and individuals and youth of all ages are invited; participation is free, and amateur and professionals are encouraged to submit. Anyone with a digital recording device, mobile phone or computer, and internet access can create self-made clips for We Are Shakespeare and join the celebration. This innovative, crowd-sourced assembly of celebrants, confirms that Shakespeare is alive, current, and universally relevant!
