Description: McAuliffe, a career politician and Clinton crony, routinely talks out of both sides of his mouth. As President Trump said, “I knew McAuliffe well. He accepted large campaign contributions from me, said only great things and would do whatever I wanted.” McAuliffe asked for and accepted $25,000 from Donald Trump for his campaign for governor, McAuliffe played golf with Donald Trump, and McAuliffe gave Donald Trump a big hug and toasted him at the White House. McAuliffe’s dishonesty has been on full display recently, as he refuses to answer questions about how many millions of dollars he invested in The Carlyle Group, the company where Youngkin was co-CEO. McAuliffe is attacking Carlyle despite the fact that he profited from his Carlyle investments for years and may still be secretly invested in the company. McAuliffe has also refused to say how many Carlyle company events he attended over the years.
