The State Archives and State Library of North Carolina, divisions within the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, operate with legislative mandates to preserve state government information and make it accessible to the citizens of North Carolina (G.S. 121-2, G.S. 125-11.5 - 11.13, G.S. 132-1b). The North Carolina State Government Web Site Archives and Access Program helps fulfill these mandates by providing archiving, preservation, and access services for websites and social media content produced and maintained by North Carolina state agencies.

Description: Web site for the Julian F. Keith Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center, which is an 80 bed (70 beds for rehabilitation, 10 beds for detox/crisis recovery) residential treatment facility designed to meet the needs of alcohol and other drug dependent residents of the western counties of the State of North Carolina. JFK ADATC is a part of a continuum of care that begins with the area mental health programs, which serve as a single portal of entry. Treatment is available to any resident of our catchment area regardless of financial resources or insurance status.

Description: The North Carolina Treatment Alternatives to Street Crime (TASC) Training Institute is a service designed to offer a supervised community-based alternative to incarceration or potential incarceration primarily to individuals who are alcohol or other drug abusers, but also to individuals who are mentally ill or developmentally disabled and who are involved in crimes of a non-violent nature. This service provides a liaison between the criminal justice system and alcohol and other drug treatment and educational services.
