Collection: A-Sites: Archived Harvard Websites
Description: The Harvard University Archives collects, organizes, preserves and provides access to a comprehensive record of more than 375 years of life at Harvard. This activity is tied integrally to records management services for Harvard University staff, administrators and faculty. Records management staff provide guidance and resources for all stages in the records and information lifecycle, from creating records through destruction of non-permanent records or transfer of permanent records to the Archives. The Records Advice for Retiring Staff website was created in response to Harvard's 2020 Voluntary Early Retirement Incentive Program (VERIP). To help the large number of staff involved in the program, the University Archives provided tailored advice to help retirees address their University records. Collected by the Harvard University Archives as part of the records of the Harvard University Archives.
