Description: "The International Centre for the Human Rights of Migrants (CIDEHUM, in Spanish) is an international organization with its headquarters in Costa Rica. It was formed in 1999 following the creation of the mandate of the UN Special Rapporteur on the Human Rights of Migrants by the former United Nations Commission on Human Rights (presently the United Nations Human Rights Council). The resolutions made by global member states that formed the content of that first UN mandate requested that the Special Rapporteur place a special emphasis on the vulnerability of unaccompanied child migrants, undocumented women migrants, and those who become victims of human trafficking crimes and illicit migrant trafficking."
