Description: "Incomindios was founded in Geneva in 1974 at the suggestion of the International Indian Treaty Council (IITC). The original purpose of the organization was to give the Indigenous people access to the UN in Geneva. Today, through a long-standing network, we are in close contact with indigenous peoples and their delegates. As one of the leading Swiss NGOs for indigenous rights, we are committed to addressing the concerns of Indigenous Peoples worldwide, focusing our work on the indigenous peoples of North, Central and South America."
