Durbar Mahila Samanwaya Committee (Durbar) is an NGO that advocates for the rights of sex workers (including male, female, and transgender sex workers) in the state of West Bengal. Durbar advocates for improving HIV/AIDS policies, provides health care for sex workers, provides education and vocational training for sex workers and their children, creates outlets for the cultural expression of sex workers, fights against human trafficking, finances micro loans for sex workers, and conducts research on sex work and sexual health in West Bengal. Description: In English. The International Committee on the Rights of Sex Workers in Europe (ICRSE) was established in the Netherlands in 2004 to create a European network of sex workers and allies. The ICRSE organized a conference in 2005, supports member organizations and individuals to collaborate in promoting positive images of sex workers, supports national campaigns to oppose policy proposals that undermine the rights of sex workers, and fights against human rights abuses that result from anti-trafficking and anti-immigration policies.
