Description: This article contains a statement made by the International Indigenous Forum on Biodiversity (FIIB) at the Tenth Session of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP10), which was held from October 18-29, 2010 in Nagoya, Japan. The FIBB statement voices concern about the increasing production of biofuels, along with the declining production of food for human consumption.
