Description: This article includes a response from the Popular Assembly for Water, an Argentine NGO, to the Mining Environmental Authority's acceptance of the Environmental Impact Study that was submitted by CORO Mining Corp., a Canadian mining company hoping to mine copper in Mendoza, Argentina. The Popular Assembly for Water has long opposed this mining megaproject, also known as the San Jorge mining megaproject, over concerns about the impact the project will have on the local community and its water supplies. Article in Spanish.
