The North Carolina State Government Web Site Archives contains content from the Web sites of North Carolina State Government Agencies, Occupational Licensing Boards, and Commissions. This collection includes many different types of records, in a variety of file formats (such as text-based information, images, and video and audio files) including meeting minutes, policies, and agency publications. The State Library of North Carolina and the North Carolina State Archives have collaborated on this initiative to identify, capture, and make accessible state government information.

Description: Home page for the Radiation Protection Section. The purpose of the Section is to implement statewide Radiation Incident Training and Hospital Assessment (RITHA). The primary objective of RITHA is to increase the capacity of hospitals and hospital personnel to deal with potential and/or real patients contaminated by radiation coming to their emergency room. The training and assessment will enable hospital personnel to make informed decisions and take responsible actions in the process of detecting, identifying, securing, and eventual mitigation of contaminated patients.
