Description: Temple Beth Zion-Beth Israel (BZBI), located in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square neighborhood, is a conservative congregation established in 1964 from the merger of Temple Beth Zion and Temple Beth Israel. In 1984, BZBI absorbed the Neziner Congregation formerly located in the Queen Village neighborhood. Website content changes over time, but Temple Beth Zion-Beth Israel’s website has included information about educational programming it offers, the admissions process, and event calendars for the Neziner Hebrew School, play and preschools. BZBI’s website also includes FAQs about services for life cycle events, links to external resources including websites of local Jewish organizations and about Conservative Judaism, past issues of the synagogue newsletter and the Rabbi’s sermons, a staff directory, and the BZBI Dictionary of Jewish tradition and terms.
