Janette lived in Flint until she was nine, then moved near Stanton, Michigan. After many twists and turns she finished high school in Stanton in 1950. She married Robert K.

She also enjoyed coloring with colored pencils. She was an avid viewer of reality TV and loved “The Walking Dead” but most of all she adored her grandsons.

She was a devoted teacher and wife of Albert E. Burkett. Pat began teaching at Brighton High School in the late ‘50s. She taught at Fowlerville High School from 1963 until retirement in 1988.

She went on to teach for almost 20 more years in Fowlerville Community Schools, retiring in 1987. She was a devoted wife of 40 years, and a loving Mother and Grandmother.

She said she was going to open a restaurant and serve hot dogs! She enjoyed the Minecraft game and conversing with people. She loved the kids at school and referred to them as "my kids".

She passed away on Nov. 6, 2018 at her home in Webberville MI at the age of 64. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
