Description: The University of Melbourne introduced Australia's first studies in architecture in the 1860s. ABP established the first full-time architecture course in 1927. Since then, courses in other disciplines of the built and natural environment have followed and we now train architects, construction managers, quantity surveyors, property professionals, landscape architects, urban planners, urban designers, and workplace planners and designers. As the Faculty has grown it has embraced new modes of delivery, course innovation and outlook. As one of the largest and best resourced schools of built environment and design in Australia, we have an enviable teaching and research record.
