Description: This article discusses Decree 0676, adopted by the Bolivian government of Evo Morales on October 20, 2010, which doubled the size of the country's oil fields. The new areas for oil exploitation incorporate previously protected areas, including over 690,000 hectares of the Madidi National Park, 723,000 hectares of the Isiboro Sécure National Park and Indigenous Territory, 154 hectares of the Aguaragüe National Park, and 100,000 hectares of the Iñao National Park.
