Collection: LA ENERGAIA: Energy Policy, Regulation and Dialog in Latin America
Description: This article discusses the rush to complete the Interoceanic Highway South, in southeastern Peru, a highway that will connect Peru and Brazil. While laborers rush to complete the highway on time, a major problem remains that 100 kilometers of this road will be covered with water as the land overlaps with the Inambari hydroelectric dam project. Much of the section of road that will be flooded has already been completed. Article in Spanish.
