Description: THE VALLEY BELOW in an independent Canadian feature film being produced by DOWN IN THE VALLEY PRODUCTIONS and NORTH COUNTRY CINEMA. This project is principally funded through Telefilm Canada's Micro-Budget Production Program. The Valley Below(formerly known as Down In The Valley) is a dramatic feature film set in the badlands of central Alberta, Canada. The title was officially changed on August 15, 2013 to address both practical and creative concerns regarding the public representation of the film going forward. Told through a series of interweaving stories, this film chronicles the life of a small town over the course of one year. Filming will occur in the Drumheller valley and surrounding areas between August and December, 2013. The Valley Below is scheduled for a multi-platform release in late 2014.
