Description: Archived website of the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance (APALA), the national organization of Asian American and Pacific Islander workers, with a membership of 660,000 and 20 chapters as of June 2018. APALA was founded in 1992 and is based in Washington, D.C. APALA's stated mission is as follows: "APALA is dedicated to promoting political education and voter registration programs among AAPIs, and to the training, empowerment, and leadership of AAPIs within the labor movement and APA community.
