Description: Archived website of the Gamer Symphony Orchestra (GSO) at the University of Maryland, "the first collegiate ensemble exclusively devoted to performing orchestral arrangements of video game music and using that music as an educational tool" ("Synopsis," http://wayback.archive-it.org/2410/20180422164726/http://umd.gamersymphony.org/about.php, archived April 22, 2018). Founded in 2005 by Michelle Eng ("The History of GSO," http://wayback.archive-it.org/2410/20170815194139/http://umd.gamersymphony.org/history.php, archived August 15, 2017), as of June 2016 the GSO consisted of more than 120 musicians performing at events across campus and the College Park area, including an annual spring concert ("Synopsis," http://wayback.archive-it.org/2410/20180422164726/http://umd.gamersymphony.org/about.php, archived April 22, 2018).
