It has been reconstructed as a site of memory and remembrance La Corporación Parque por la Paz Villa Grimaldi fue constituida el 13 de julio de 1996, como una entidad privada sin fines de lucro y que, por Decreto Exento N° 170 del 17 de marzo de 2005 del Ministerio de Bienes Nacionales, es la encargada de gestionar y poner en valor el sitio patrimonial Parque por la Paz Villa Grimaldi, ex “Cuartel Terranova”. Su quehacer se orienta fundamentalmente a la promoción y defensa de los Derechos Humanos al interior de la sociedad chilena.
