Oregon State University serves as the state’s Land Grant university. A leading research university it is one of only two universities in the U.S. to have Sea Grant, Space Grant and Sun Grant designations. The OSU Libraries’ strong digital presence includes the Oregon Explorer, a comprehensive digital library of Oregon's natural resources, the Oregon Multicultural Archives, which documents the lives and activities of ethnic minorities in Oregon, and the Linus Pauling collections. The Special Collections and Archives Research Center captures Oregon State University websites documenting academic programs, student life, administration and governance, special events, and the history and development of OSU for the University Archives collection.

Description:

The Oregon Hops and Brewing Archives (OHBA) is a collecting initiative, documentation, and community archiving project within the Oregon State University Libraries Special Collections & Archives Research Center. The OHBA will tell the story of hops production and the craft beer industry in Oregon. The goal is to coordinate the historical documentation and provide access to information about the hops and brewing industries through both the OSU collections and those in outside repositories, industries, or communities.
