Collection: Shakespeare Festivals and Theatrical Companies
Description: New York Classical's mission is to create and reinvigorate audiences for the theatre by presenting all-free productions of popular classics and forgotten masterpieces in public spaces throughout New York City. Since 2000, NY Classical Theatre has presented over 700 free performances for more than 250,000 New Yorkers. They have produced extensively in non-traditional settings: outdoors in Central Park, The Battery, Governors Island, Rockefeller Park (Battery Park City), Carl Schurz Park, MetroTech Commons, and Brooklyn Bridge Park and indoors in Brookfield Place, One Liberty Plaza, and One New York Plaza—and more. NY Classical is located at 64 Fulton Street, Suite 1108, New York, NY 10038.
