Description: The Purple to Blue Project is a national, multi-year effort by Democracy for America to win state House and Senate chambers across the country by making so-called “purple” state legislative seats decisively Democratic. In 2013, we are focused on taking down extremist legislators in VA’s House of Delegates –specifically five premier districts that voted for both Tim Kaine and Barack Obama but are currently represented by out-of-touch Republicans in Richmond.
