Description: Campaign Web site of Sam Rasoul, seek the 2014 Democratic nomination for the special election to fill the vacant seat of Onzlee Ware, Virginia House of Delegates, 11th District. Ware resigned shortly after being re-elected in November 2013. Rasoul won the 7 December 2013 Democratic Party "firehouse" primary. The final results were: Sam Rasoul, 846 votes; Dave Trinkle, 802 votes; Trish White Boyd, 522 votes; and Court Rosen, 462 votes. Rasoul will face Republican nominee Octavia Johnson in 7 January 2014 special election. Rasoul won the 7 January 2014 special election. The results were: Rasoul (D), 70.17%; Octavia Johnson (R), 29.63%.
