Description: The Assistive Technology Loan Fund Authority (ATLFA) is a Commonwealth of Virginia State Authority created with public funds to help Virginians with disabilities obtain assistive technology. The ATLFA provides affordable financing alternatives (loans with below-market interest rates, no down payments, longer repayment terms, etc.) to help make adaptive equipment a possibility for individuals who might not otherwise be eligible for borrowing. Any type of equipment can be financed as long as it relates to an individual’s disability; examples include recreational equipment, vision aids, communication and hearing devices, and vehicles with modifications. Title from HTML header (viewed 19 September 2018) URL for Assistive Technology Loan Fund Authority for 1997 was http://www.state.va.us/hhr//atlfa/ URL for Assistive Technology Loan Fund Authority from 1998 to August 2000 was http://www.cns.state.va.us/atlfa/

This effort will initially focus on helping jobseekers and employers in Virginia’s shipbuilding industry, but will ultimately include resources relating to other growing industries including construction and advanced manufacturing. In addition to current job postings, the Build Virginia website will bring together information about industry-recognized training programs, registered apprenticeships, and other relevant workforce development resources. Build Virginia will serve as a comprehensive hub for citizens to learn about the skilled trades and connect with employers seeking talent. Description: Archived website of the Virginia Office of Data Governance and Analytics. The website includes a blog, newsletters, Commonwealth Data Trust, Enterprise Data Catalog, and the Virginia Open Data Portal. Data governance is exercising the appropriate authority and control over a data asset to ensure its integrity, quality, security, and availability to all qualified users. Proper governance offers many benefits including increased awareness of data holdings, improved organizational efficiency and productivity, more citizen-centered services, and better informed decision-making and evidence-based policymaking resulting in actionable intelligence. Governance increases the value of Commonwealth data assets by guiding and enabling its evolution from information to intelligence while promoting data discovery, exploration, integration, and sharing through the implementation of enterprise standards, policies, guidelines, and best practices. On January 7, 2020, Governor Northam signed Executive Order 48 that established a data governance framework making Virginia a leader in data-driven policy, evidence-based decision-making, and outcome-based performance management. The primary goal of the framework is to help the Commonwealth be more responsive and make better, evidence-based decisions grounded in the data it collects and manages. The data governance framework includes the Virginia Data Advisory Commission, Executive Data Board, Data Governance Council, and Data Stewards Group. During the 2021 General Assembly Special Session I, Senate Bill 1365 was passed that solidifed Virginia's data governance framework and through § 2.2-203.2:4. the Office of Data Governance and Analytics (ODGA) was created within the Office of the Secretary of Administration. The ODGA is directed by the Chief Data Officer of the Commonwealth and is charged with overseeing general data governance in the Commonwealth, as well as developing and managing the Commonwealth Data Trust. Description based on contents viewed on April 11, 2022 Title from HTML header (viewed April 11, 2022) In March 2022, the URL for Virginia's Chief Data Officer (CDO) changed from https://www.cdo.virginia.gov/ to https://www.odga.virginia.gov/.
